airdog blew up??

so i called pureflow today and they told me to clean the star wheel indise of the airdog, i did that and replaced the fuse that blew. i start the truck up and my fp is only sitting at 12 lbs, wtf? so i call again and he tells me that there is a spring inside the return line port in the airdog, he tells me to stretch the spring, ok so i do that then start the truck back up and im at 15 lbs, cool thats what i wanted so anyway i go to drive it and the fuel pressure ranges from about 17 lbs down to 10 lbs at random times, then when i get on it the fp stays at 15 like normal then about 3 seconds later the fp drops to 10 then down to 0 for a second then it shoots back up to 10 then back up to 15, im real unhappy with this thing especially cause it just all the sudden started acting up
 
im just looking for some kind of solution to this i really dont want to drop another 500 bucks on another pump i thought there was a 1 year warranty on these pumps??
 
Verify that thing to another gauge, check voltage, and do a 5 gallon bucket test. Give me a call if you have any questions. My cell is listed in the pureflow forum.
