AMP Steps installed on the 07

I did an install article for 8-Lug a few months ago with 2" extensions and led lights. The install was fairly easy and the steps work great.

The owner of the truck and his pregnant wife really enjoy them. He has an 8" lift with 35's.

Rob, Everything mounts under the cab. So, you would have plenty of room for the system.
 
How well do the lights light up?



For the price, I'm probably just going to mount some under the truck like Bear Hunter did......but curious about the AMP ones.


The extensions are nice....only downfall is they make the step visible when closed.
 
They work pretty good. My only complaint is they are mounted with 3m tape. So, if the truck get really muddy or your in thick brush, they could fall off.

But they work good in low to no light times. Really don't make any difference during the day.
 
Are they bright enough to light the ground well under the step??



So, you don't jump into a puddle or in some mud....like I've done a few times LOL
