Here are some pictures of the intake that I made for my head. I designed this last summer wanting to cut the intake off and port my head My work has been slow so I finally got around to cut the head and finish it. I still have to set the head back on the truck and get the intake piping worked out. I have designed it to work with the grid heater if you want it. There is little or no restriction going into the ports it matches almost perfectly no steps. I can't say what gains one might get from it I think the big thing is just being able to port the intake runners.

Is this machined from solid unit or is it welded together?

I haven't got any thing designed for a 12 valve yet. Right now I am concentrating on getting this CR one done. But I am sure it wouldn't be all that hard to adapt.

Damn Bruce, Great lookin piece. I really enjoy the parts that come from the chicken coop. :hehe:

Lemmie know if you have any 'extrees' LOL

With your truck in mind I'm guessing the front will take a 2nd CP3.

Did you ever get sorted out with your air horns too? I ended up getting one from a guy at Chuck's sledpull this year. Looked kinda similar to your setup. SS and I had it electropolished. Now I just gotta save a couple piggies and have the ED guys make me matching twin piping.

Thanks Amish,
Yeah the three hole in front will mount the CP3 every thing else as far as lines and air sensor will bolt right up too.

Bruce, that looks much better than what you described to me over the phone.

Heck thats a work of art, very well built!

Thanks allot guys ! I just hope it makes some good HP and keeps the # 1 and 6 pistons from melting down by freeing up the air flow.

oh you sneaky man you !! Looks like you're going for pro street this time around ?? That's nice Bruce. Is it a one off or are you planning on building them to sell ? How's the weight being cut from a solid piece, more or less than the stock plenum ?

It's definitely still a pretty hefty chunk of aluminum . I think it might be a little lighter. When you mill the stock plenum off it takes quite a bit of weight off the head at least I can carry it around easier. LoL !
This is the first one but if some one wants one made or wants the head machined or ported I can do that.
