says he cant compress it til approx 40

i am thinking its a 215 spring since they are right around there just before coil bind

That's cool, it will compress before 40 but is full tilt at 40. The spring is anyone's guess.

sounds like a stock 215 spring to me

they usually put the boost elbow at the afc but not to bleed off pressure for the diaphram...its there cuz thats where the stock 35 gets its signal from. its usually in a tee
