compaired to a typical 180hp street 12v other than the coated pistons and the extra oil drain at the back of the block.
im going to be changing out my block with the marine one i aquired with only 145 hours before it sank then was pulled apart and sat for a few years.. i am wondering if the head might be worth doing as well? what mean is like i have on my current head with backcutting the valves and a good valve job with some good small block chevy spring like i have already in this head.. but is the design any different or should i wait until the next build i want to do for my brothers 56 chevy pickup thats basically going to be a clone to what i already have... both the head and block are brazil that from what most say is good.. the pump is froze up but im going to have it rebuilt some day also..

also with the pistons i think because of the big bowls they are the lower compression version.. does this mean that piston patrusion is lower also so i could possibly deck the block to gain some compression back or am i wrond and they are just going to be even lower if i went with vavle reliefs..
anyway thanks as always.

no one knows the specs on a 330 motor, compression, piston patrusion, any head differences?
ive searched but cant find any specs

I don't know about the old 12V but the newer common rail's the block is thicker and stronger so I assume the 12v would be the same. Weston should have some specs he knows everything.

im hopeing it is something better.. but thats just a hope along with the head.. but again i want to know im "upgrading" before i just spend money for the same thing..
