BTW, great ideal. but, u would have to get a tach signal somehow. It says it has to connect to the outout on the ignition box which we dont have, so.... not for sure.

Just use this http://www.autometer.com/cat_gaugedetail.aspx?gid=2749&sid=9 make up a bracket and get the signal from your Dampner bolts.

Haisley Machine sells a Stewart Werner recall tach that's the same size as our regular boost/pyro gauges...think its less than $250 and comes with the pick up for the balancer? Call Haisley because I did a quick search on SW's website and couldn't find it, but I know they sell it ask JackBlack99

I think he may be referring as to using this with the factory tach instead of an aftermarket. But then again i maybe wrong. I wouldn't go through the trouble of putting one of those on when you can just get an aftermarket tach with the memory recall already built in.

Scott the problem with the Autometer one is the cost. Mine cost me $298 and it still doesn't work worth crap.

I have had the "GUS" like pictured about also and yes it and the Autometer are just recall tach's not Playback ones.

Well most places with an RPM limit don't care if it is on the line or mid track.

I have never had a problem with my Auto Meter unit and will be letting it go very cheap as I have a InteliDash coming with my Corsa upgrade.

Makes sense, the Auto Meter is large.

I had the same luck out of my autometer. I tried it three diffrent ways and could never get it to read correctly above 3500 rpms. I went with the stewart warner gus tach and so far has been right on the money.
