anyone seen this kind of wastegate adapter?

The issue I have with an SS tubing on mine, is I have stopped the truck at the end of a pull, to reset the air shutoff that activated, and the SS pipe was still glowing, after I had to wait for the flagman to let me out of the truck, unhook the sled, etc. Probably 30-45 seconds had elapsed. I am on my second one, as the first one cracked.

The cast thicker ones like these I would think would fair better in the long run.

For the money spent imho the ED plate is hard to beat. It's not that expensive.

Plus, with these thicker units you will have to deal with moving the charger far away from the manifold. I've had mine 1.5" away via an ED plate and quick spool flange which seems alot smaller than the adapter shown in post 19 and it was very close to contact not to mention having to account for the intake moving around and down pipe interference.

Is it off the truck now Dan? We have went to thicker wall stainless tube now after seeing another one crack like yours. We will swap out the new plate, tube and gate inlet flange if you want. The new tube's are shorter, do you still run the gate's outlet independent? If so the tube being shorter wouldn't effect your install would it? We can make a longer one to fit the existing piping if needed.
