Anyone Trust Napa Gold Filters?

Got a case of fleetguards coming....maybe they'll show up some day. :poke: :hehe: Maybe if I didn't live 1200 miles from the best diesel shop in the nation... :D If THAT don't get me brownie points...... :D
 
We use the Wix and Napa Gold filters on all our lifeboats with no issues.

If I don't drive it that much and just switched to Amsoil CI marine oil, Would anyone object to spending the extra chedder on an Amsoil filter??

I used a Wix (napa) this last go round but Amsoil makes a strong case for their filter...Is it really any better?
 
we use wix/napa on all of our vehicles (we have to many) and we have never had a problem, just please dont spin on a fram aka orange can of death.

Ill never run amsoil again. They guy that built my motor called me and asked do you run amsoil and there filters.....He said he can tell and amsoil motor when he s pulls them apart. We didnt use chit from my old motor because of it.

I have always used wix and napa filters and have been told by a few machine shops that I should use wix.
 
i have 2 friends that have had a wix and napa come apart i would by mopar filters you can buy them from walmart if you dont have a dealer close

Yep me to, been using them since i bought the truck.
 
I put a Fram gold on my truck because it was the only thing I had access to.

I do have a Fleetguard that I bought for my old 12 valve, will that work on a 2003?
 
Been running Napa golds on 5 trucks for the last 10 years and NEVER a problem. The new # is a 7620 btw

The threads in the bottom do not properly engage with the threads on the water sensor and the sensor will come loose causing air to enter the fuel system.
 
Hey Jory, P&K is a fleetgaurd dealer here in stillwater. Now whether or not they keep filters in stock is up in the air.
