Axle?

I have acquired a 2003 Silverado 1500 Regular Cab Short Bed. The truck is a 2wd, five-speed stripper model. It's not a diesel yet, the key word here being "yet". :st:
I'd like to know, however, what kind of axle is under it. What is the name of it, and any other specifications?

As it sits now, it's just a regular "10 bolt" GM axle.

Decipher that to mean FIND ANOTHER AXLE!!!!! LOL 10 bolt chevies are notoriously weak in the diff area. Trust me, I know this all to well

Oh I know that. Running this axle was never in the plan. I just needed to know what to call it when I put the P.O.S. on eBay!
