Nope never caught on anything. I think the case will be ok but wont know until i get ti out of the truck. No its not a Billet profab it was the Diesel Profab before the billet
 
SCS claims theirs have never been broken....?

I will have the disk the video's are on tomorrow. But Im 90 miles from home and wont be able to get them online untill Wed. Sorry

I few notes-
Test and Tune in sled pulling= practice breaking parts.

Bullet proof is a dirty word in pulling.

Ya broke both rears? What was it, a tandem?

Blue Stinger-Translation, Jeremy was going damn fast when it happened.

He used up all his good luck at the indoor pull, now hes used up all his bad luck, should be good to go for the season!
 
Pretty sure SCS is claiming their's is unbreakable, at least no one has broke one yet......
 
AFAIK no one has broken a SCS, that all I have ran on our last two trucks.
Larry at profab is a good guy and can probably set you up again pretty reasonably though.

you are right chris, no one in the last 12 years has EVER broken a SCS gear box........and they hold their reputation to it.........SCS or nothing in my opinion, and i know several guys using them in thier big mud trucks as well and im talking 5 ton (or bigger) axles, 60+ inch tires, 1000+ horsepower, car crushing, mud bogging, jumping, tug of wars, sled pulling, roll overs, flips......
 
Im not sure about the SCS dropbox but i know their reversers will break we have 1 and i know of a few others that have broke them also. I called SCS about fixing the 1 we have and they told me i was lying that their stuff doesnt break and they had never had 1 come apart before, so i call BS it will all break its not if its when.
 
Damn Jermey that sucks... I'm sure you can get it back together, If you need the 1st gen to run till you do let me know. :hehe:

With that kind of attitude from SCS, I'd be postin' up a big picture on the internet with the title "our stuff don't break."

Secondly, if it ain't broke, then they should have no problem with you shipping it to them to do no work on it, and returning it to you.

Their attitiude out there at SCS really sucks. Thats why i went with Profab they are very helpful and down to Earth. SCS is really about offshore racing and if you arent into that they dont want to talk to you

Thanks, going to try like crazy dont know yet exactly whats tore up. Normally when a truck nose's over as bad as this 1 did to get the back tire that far up on the sled the whole drive line is junk i will know tomowrow when i get it disassembled, but there is a chance it will be fine but i doubt it.:doh:

the reversers will break from what i understand, drop boxes wont though.....
 
Just got it out of the trailer and got some cosmetic damage:kick: that can be fixed, all i can say is im glad i had the bump stops on it or the bed would be toast

man that sucks. i love seein that truck run. hopeyou get her back together soon. it didn over spin the motor or anything did it?
