bd steering brace

where is the adjustment nut? is it on the saft side inside or outside? i dont see anything to adjust except the allen screw on top of the gear box.
 
i believe the allen is the adjustment, you losen the nut, and turn the allen.

i would also like to know about the input shaft adjustment, i was just going to start a thread asking about the same problem as my wheel has over 90* of play in it. sucks!
 
You have to remove the steering wheel to box shaft, then use a spanner wrench or punch and hammer and open up the top of the steering box, there is a seal in there, then as stated earlier, tighten so far, then back of so far. But im not a service manual.
 
ya thanks for all the info guys, unfortunately my right hand was in a cast until today but i got in a head on collision on Wednesday and didnt get a chance to try it yet, the accident was not related to the steering, hopefully everything works out and i will be fixing the truck up but that wont be for awile
