Best 3.0 charger

If your talking cheap buy a Borg Warner 3.0 s400(<$600) get a t4 .9, or 1.0 a/r turbine housing($150). Adapter to put the t4 housing to a 4" downpipe($20) Go to your local Hydraulic hose maker have a hose made(<$30)
$800 and you have a pretty good charger. You could cut some corners and probably save another $100 off of that also. It won't be the baddest charger out there, but it will run pretty good.

Im looking for the baddest 3.0 charger out there. have plenty of fuel and 6500RPM to play with

Tom and Garrett would both be running a 3.230 turbine wheel-a Super T would be a 3.111, and the standard T series is 2.920. A Y2k would be 3.80, or 4.3165.

The bushed Thumper I run has a 5.10 inch wheel.

Yes, boys Bunting is running our thumper using our 5in turbine wheel.

Our midframe turbos are holding to the abuse of the Super Farm tractors. They are somewhere in the 690ci and making 65psi plus with a 3in/3out class rules.

Is he pulling or drag racing with that turbo? I have not heard his name come up in the pulling world for a while now. Just curious.

The chargers on Brent's tractor seem to work pretty good too! (Color of Money Alcohol SS is running 3 Torque-Masters I believe) :rockwoot:

We'll be running a T-netics from GMS on our new puller. Haven't ironed out the exact specs yet though.

If you are able to run a bushing, you should probably get a 82mm Y2K and bush it down to 3.0"

I am pulling is the same class a fullrath and yes we are allowed bushing. But some say bushings kill the charger and make less power, so what do you guys think?

Let learn more about turbonetics chargers. Im interested either in the mid frame or maybe the Y2K charger.
Like bigstriss said good bushing or no bushing
