Best tranny build parts?

Hi I'm about to start a tranny build and want to know what the best combination of parts would be? my goal is to be at about 500hp but still be able to tow and make a few passes on the the strip.

My truck has 30,000 on the trans build i have now and that is.


Do I just need to get an input shaft?? Or do i need to do a new build?

I don't know about a new build but I would get a billet input. Just out of curiosity, what kind of converter do you have? For 1700 bucks it better be made of gold lol

I'd say a billet input should be good to go. That is if you have a truly good triple disc in there and the valve body is good.

Depending on how heavy you tow you might need a billet output.
