BIG HP engine dyno numbers

Engine- Based off a Cummins 5.9
CID-450.4
Block- Tool Steel, no water
Head- Ported 4 valve
Pump- Sigma
injectors- 8x.020
Turbos- 2 large 4.2 and 4.5
Nitrous- this is a puller not a drag truck
HP-1608@4300rpm
Torque- 2240@3100rpm
Boost- 105#
EGT's- 1350-1500
1300cc's of fuel
and some water
Didnt get a chance to really dial it in as we dropped a valve. Going to make a few changes and get back to the dyno in about a month or so, goal is 1800hp and 2500 tq. All done on Darnells Engine Dyno in Cynthiana KY.

Last year with the triples it was at 1404 hp and 359 cubes. Lots of room to improve this year.

NICE....... all I can say is cha ching$$$$$$$$$$$$$

Out of sheer curiosity, roughly what does one of those motors cost roughly?

Surprised egt's are that low. I figured they'd be thru the roof.

What truck? And thanks, man! Hey Richard, he even gave an injector size, can I have the stuff from your estate sale? :poke:

Wow I didnt really expect anybody to give any info up, let alone most all of it.

.......... I'm quite sure that is not all of it LOL

Yeah there is still cam timing, compression ratio, turbine housing sizes, fueling curves, injector spray angles and a bunch of other stuff that I am sure will remain a "tuning secret." Still I am surprised also. Hey Jeremy, you going to be at the OSTPA pull on the 19th in Oak Harbor?

Oak Harbor, not likely since we dropped a valve. I am hoping to get my cast motor done this week so we can come out for a little while. I believe Oct 1st someone could take delivery on the frame and body if I ever get it listed for sale. All the info, not even close, there is so much more that would make you stand back and go "WOW". I was always one to share info you just had to ask. For the most part anyone can go and buy the stuff I listed. Joefarmer prolly has most of it on his shelf.

1300 cc of fuel... Funny how as big of a number it is, it really doesn't mean that much. (I'm hear backlash on that comment already...) But its cool how you opened up on it. Most of the big guys won't step up, though Jeremy is correct you can go buy most the parts from the good diesel shops.

JQ, if you want the specs on Compression Ratio, Cam Specs, Valve over lap, etc, etc, etc... Your going to have to build it yourself and even then you may not know all the specs...LOL

Hey Cory, you make those 1500-2500hp numbers when you don't window a block... Wait, I can see that comment is going to haunt me now as well.... Where are the wrenches....:nail:

Its just a matter of time befor someone starts burning the smokeless fuel and runs an HT100.....:D

Here's a fun one...just posting what I know....$.02

I wan't to know how the MOD guys keep cylinder heads down with big boost, super high timing (what's mods run 40+?) etc...etc...

i know a few guys that run fire ringed blocks w/studs that hold 100# and 30* for along time now (like 2 seasons)

i have a buddy building an itpa truck it will be on haisleys engine dyno next wed im going to go try and watch it be dynoed he is hoping for 1000 hp number idk i know some specs not all but close to 30 grand in his motor is what i was told im not saying truth or lie
i was also told that coppess's motor did 950 so idk ill post more if i can and when i find out
