Big injector gurus, little help.

I have come to the conclusion that I am going to have to get some bigger injectors to keep up with these guys I sled pull against.

I have been looking at DDP, F1 although I am hooked on II injectors. I only have a 62/71/14 turbo & was wondering what size injector I can run without worry of melting down at 4k rpm?

P-pump is out of the question, I tow quite often & need electronics. Guys around here are running Monster vp's or P-pumps. Whatever injector I choose will need swapped in/out before/after the pulls. I would like to buy used, you got some...shoot me a price.
 
DDP's seem to be a good choice. What kind of HP are you looking for? With only a 62mm it can be limiting on how large you can go with injectors.
 
11 Hole with Lift injectors have been making the highest hp. With your turbo you will be better off with some a bit smaller. We have many injectors to choose from. Call us to work out what you want. Thanks

Member Patriot has some HMR 7x14s for sale in a thread... I am running 7x14's right now with my HX40 so your 62/71/14 should handle them fine.

I'm running Dragon flies right now, I thought they were 7x14's.?

I am up against Monster pumps & P-pumps, gonna need alot of fuel. I'm not gonna be daily driving the injectors, just swapping them in before my pulls. My current setup is matched perfect for the street.
 
I have 6 x 12's that is probably the biggest you will need. They run really well, very streetable you wouldn't need to swap them back and forth. They have some good pintle mods.
 
I build them, they will outpower a 7 x 14 by a good margin. Also the 7 hole VCO valve injector is bad for blowing the end off of the nozzle, not so with these.
 
I bought a set of Mach 5 injectors from a local guy. Think they'll be too hot for my little turbo? I'm only using them for pulling, daily drive my current setup.
 
Thats a 200 hp injector. Thats what I plan to run with my 62/71/13ss.

My truck runs cool with these dragon flies. Another 50hp will be pushing the limits, I'm just wondering how much higher. Anyone running M5's with 62/71/14?
 
Set the truck to daily drive with the box turned all the way down, and then sled pull with it all the way up. I know when we used to run the 24V the comp would be on 1x1 which was actually less than stock.
 
I'm gonna try this, might be a dumb idea. I'm gonna install the M5's & turn Smarty on half power, then crank the Adrenaline up for towing. If that doesn't work, I'll just swap in the M5's for sled pulling & DD my flies.
 
im running mach 5's but i have a 66/71/14 aka sledpuller but i run a hot and idk why i think its just cause of the HTT when i get some money im gonna switch to industrial injection. but anyways with my set up and the smarty at 5 and my tst off and running with water i will hit 1400-1500 at wot. those mach 5's tend to run a little hotter than others. so just keep an eye on them especially with only a 62 charger.
