Big injector gurus, little help.

im running mach 5's but i have a 66/71/14 aka sledpuller but i run a hot and idk why i think its just cause of the HTT when i get some money im gonna switch to industrial injection. but anyways with my set up and the smarty at 5 and my tst off and running with water i will hit 1400-1500 at wot. those mach 5's tend to run a little hotter than others. so just keep an eye on them especially with only a 62 charger.

Its not because of HTT. Its because your running a 65mm exhaust wheel. Send that charger to HTT and have them swap in the 71mm wheel, which will make it their prostreet charger. And actually F1's run pretty darn cool for how big of injector your running. With the adrenaline off my 64 will cool mach 6+'s, holds about 1250-1300 at wot, turn up the box and its another story, but its a lot of fuel for a single 64. just my $.02

now that there sounds like a fine idea.
why didnt i think of that? :bang
anyone know how much this would cost me?

my egts are a little less than yours at WOT with 6's, smarty, and a 62/71/13ss.

but the cruising egts are a good bit hotter than the 4's.

I am up against Monster pumps & P-pumps, gonna need alot of fuel. I'm not gonna be daily driving the injectors, just swapping them in before my pulls. My current setup is matched perfect for the street.

I'd say your well outnumbered then. Surely those guys are running 62 chargers with those applications are they?

Wow, with the smarty on? I can hit 1600 no problem with the adrenaline turned up. Maybe the ss housing is really doing its job. I will be changing out my cast housing for a ss one pretty soon.

As for cost of the conversion I think its about $400, give HTT a call and dave should hook you up.

You can get away with a big ass injector and a 62... it is all about the hot side.

No prostreet has a 71, HTT only uses the 74 wheel in their new competiton turbo. Timbeaux is right, its all about the turbine, maybe a 16cm ss housing or a silver 62? Or run some water with your current setup, and just move to the bigger injector.

I was just wondering if it was necessary or not. I guess it depends on how BIG really is also. Or if it would hurt him to be to big.

I would hit 1800* with the 64/65/14 I had before, can't hit that with my new turbo.

We have many different injector variations in stock. If you want something made to your liking, we can do that as well. We have the 7x.014" injectors with and without lift cut, if that is what you are looking for. As always we use only new BOSCH injectors.

You must be careful nowdays, there has been many offshore/willfit injectors being sold as quality injectors. If you buy injectors, look at the side of the injector for the BOSCH name, logo and part numbers. If they are not there, you are buying a cheap knockoff from a questionable origin. China has been making some very poor and cheap products which include injectors, nozzles, turbos and many other items. Be careful to buy only BOSCH quality.
You will be glad in the long run!

Thanks Brady. I won't part with my Dragon Flows you custom built me, The combo is perfect for everything I've thrown at it. I just wanted some sticks for pulling & ran across some M5's at my price level.
