Biggest injector a vp will flow

Who cares about air locking? Either roll out of the throttle SLOWLY or keep a 19mm wrench in the cab. It's not an edge or quadzilla thing.

The DDP 250's are not worth it, but there are better/larger injectors out there that will out-perform those DDP 200's by a mile.

Whats the deal with an HO pump then? Why is it High Output if it has smaller plungers or wont make the power an SO pump will.

Increased injection pressure and different electronics. FWIW the HO has 7mm plungers and the SO has 7.5mm plungers. A whole whopping 7 %. Anyone on here running TST ever experience airlock?

Well that kinda depends. The SO fuels so much better over 2500 rpm, it feels like a new truck. Really the only way to make power on an HO is with big injectors which takes most of the smoke adjustability out of the picture. I'd say yes if you want a DD friendly setup with a fuel box, No if all you care about is making 500 hp.

Ok thanks, I always wondered what the difference was with them. More so now than before, because one of my buddies just bought a dodge with manuel trans. It has a BD turbo and a edge juice and attitude. The edge doesnt seem to push it like I thought it would.

In my case the TST comp only adds 60 hp and 310 lbft for the HO pump. For the SO pump it adds 180hp and 450 lbft. Not sure what the edge does.

Dragon fire i had would flow plenty of fuel for 6X18's which is proably around a 300HP injector or more

i run a redline box and i air locked mine more with jamer 5's than i do with the large attomizers that i run now. There's no better cure than a 19mm snap on wrench in the door.

Just wondering if it would really pay to step up to a 250 horse injector with my setup. I can already air lock my pump if i let out of it too quick. Does a so vp really even have the capability to fuel a 250 horse injector or am i just gonna lose injection pressure?

Call Schied and get some Lightning 2's(They are a 6X12), They are rated at 150hp, Real horsepower, not made up numbers. I would bet they would make 50+ more than what you are running now.

Before everyone gets all mental with injector size keep in mind I made over 1000 with 6X12's. The real big injectors are too much, in most cases. Just remember you can't make power with a VP anyway:evil:

I agree with this guy ^^^ 6X12's are proably more HP then DDP's 250's I had a custom set off DDP's biggest set they have ever dont for a VP, i pulled a few times with them and was in 5th or 6th and always fell off the charger, went to a set of scheid 6X18's went to 1st 2nd or 3rd and spun out at then end!!!

DDP's new 8 hole Comp series injectors do look promising though.
