Biggest Injectors for SOVP44?

dyno's 449/1085 with so pump, puck/smarty8, 6.5's , and ps. not real impressed with the 6.5's for all out power they're great for daily driving. still got 21 mpg going to see goerend and they cleaned up real well on the dyno and on the street. almost too well. feels better with puck or smarty by themselves but we didn't have time to tune on the dyno. couldn't get redline to work worth a flip. ????

Mach 6.5's? Should have made way more than that I would have guessed.
 
that's what i'm trying to figure out. wasn't real impressed with the smoke. It was just a little bit more than the mach 1.6's we had in it the week before. The ps 62/14 cleaned it a lot more than I would have thought. Time for some DDP's I guess.

They are clean injectors, but that doesnt sound right! Get some DDP comps...
 
hmm...here is the smoke i had with DDP comps with a silver bullet for air...most people considered me the sleeper cuz my truck didn't smoke much and ran well.

Are you sure those were comps? Cleanest I have ever seen them run in any truck. Looked like DDP90's.

My 62/71 cleans ddp150's to a haze, and when i ran the 66/71 there was no haze at all!
 
yes i am sure they are comps. they made 562 with redline, and 571 with a TST.

i still have them in my truck now set to VP specs with the p-pump and they made 631 but smokes alot more now. LOL

Going to a P-Pump is the only thing that changed? If so that is impressive. So do you think you had a weak VP? I have more smoke with my Mach 5's and S366.

i may have a set of Mach 7's for sale in a few weeks is anyone is interested

Still looking for the best "large" injector option! Still running the Mach 5's but cleaning them up now. Need more Fuel!!!
 
smokem can get you a large set. when i get all my finances fixed im getting a set rated around 180hp sorry not sure of the orfice and pop or anything but was told with the silver bullet on a street truck it will be a great all around set up.

You need to choose your charger first, then match your injectors to the air supply. Going to big on injector will kill your power. My friend has 7x.018's, S475 turbo, redline box & has no problem keeping the charger lit with a SOVP44. His truck is a runner. I installed his injectors in my truck & actually lost power because I don't have big tubes & good air supply. I know this will sound crazy, but I am willing to bet that my truck is pushing 600hp with the combo in my signature. I run timing maxed on Smarty & timing maxed on Adrenaline, truck won't stay on the road.
 
I just put in some ddp comps today on my truck with the current set up in my sig. Highest i turned the edge up to was level 3 and my 62 actually cleared up most of the most to a little haze egts highest i saw egts were around 1250. I will more than likely be selling them before winter to detune my truck as i dont need the power in the winter. So JIT let me know if you are interested. i just wanna see what they will do at a few sled pulls here tomorrow and next weekend
 
im running a 320hp 7x.018 injector in my truck on a so pump, the pump keeps up with 20 psi feed pressure
