Billet shaft didn't shatter? pics inside

I will second the TCS A 100 shaft. I have snapped all the other stock diameter shafts and the A 100 so far is the only thing to hold.

Top 3 in my book
1.TCS A100
2.TCS 300 M
3.Sonnax

with #2 and 3 being a close race.

P.S. Broke 3 of the Opie shafts like twigs.

Opie's stock size shafts or phat shafts?

I got pretty lucky when mine broke, it was a Sonnax shaft and I replaced it with another and haven't had any trouble since- that was about 3 years and 20k miles ago.

Hey Chris. I wonder if that had anything to do with your annoying noise ??

No sir, I wish I could say that was the noise, but remember I spun the center out of the flexplate. When I did that I slid the converter off of the trans and put a new seal in for good measure. Slid right off without struggle. This time it took one man with a strap wrapped around the converter, his feet against the belhousing pulling with all his might, and I with a breaker bar using it as a wiggle/prying device before it flew out into his lap. Good insight though. Going to yank the cam if I get time this weekend and change gears, hopefully that will shut up.
