Black Crow Express for sale?

It dont matter. Hes broke the SCS and Haisley axles also haha. Thats an axle breaking machine

The pump that was on it last year was the one that everyone had a stink about. He built a new pump for this year. Which is a p 7100 with an ag governor. there is nothing in the rules around hear that says you cant just needs to be a p 7100. When we showed up on saturday with the truck. We went about 60 ft before it broke both rear shafts but we had to try to run the stock ones because the new ones where not here yet. When the pull was over people were complaining that it was a sigma pump which it isn't. Will be interesting see what is said when the truck makes a full run!
what rear axle does it have? and were you get the axle shafts from? i broke one of mine saturday nite

I would go with SCS axles or the Haisley axles. Seem to be the best from what I have heard.

They broke the scs spool and had a custom full spool made for it. The last set lasted half of a pull. Justin thought the duals was the final blow the rearend failing, just to much hook. I hope the new owner can keep it together, the truck does run good.

help me out a little was that a 3rd gen motor converted to a p pump????

danny

no! I got a couple clues on whats inside of it! Id say its time for a rockwell in that thing for sure!

Nope, built by a couple of guys named Lance Blackaby and Scott Crow. BlackCrow Ent., they run a mechanic shop and build some really neat stuff on the side. Lance drives a 69 Chevell with a twin turbo fuel injected 468 as his daily driver and Scott has a nice single turbo corvette headed toward the mid 8's. I really don't think the upper end of the power range was found with that truck as they where still changing turbos around when it was sold. They build most everything from intakes to complete stainless exhaust systems in house.
I hang at there shop alot when I'm not working and it's amazing the stuff that comes out of that shop.

Oh I thought it was always an enterprize engine. Everything on those trucks is always so secretive.

No enterprise stuff there. Looks like my buddy will be going up next week to get the insight on the build!

You might get them to build you an engine but as far as just getting info on the parts, save your gas, you won't get any. I can't speak for them but I do know them fairly well.

Somebody needs to build a 3.0 truck now that can lay it to them illinois guys.

I think Destroked could do it with a little more time and Jeff Jahnsen's truck is a bushed down 3.0 truck...maybe next year they'll add some fuel and take the bushing out? :poke:

Thought Jahnsen's truck was for sale? I wish I had the money to buy it wonder how much he is asking? Yeah I forgot about Kevin Cole he is defiantaly capable of doing it. Strothcamp said he would be back next year also so guess we'll see. If I hit the powerball I'll have one. Hell all of my buddies will have one too.

Jahnsen has a new turbo on that truck. Its big. 5 inch exhaust outlet and got his water injection done. Hes wanting like $45,000 for it. Gwammy I dont know them but I know he is going up to meet with them about the build. Heard the phone conversation and it was pretty interesting what them guys know and have tried!

I forgot about Kevin... yeah his truck is probably the best running out of the three at the moment.

Yep I think he can hang with any IL guy myself. Black Crow just made it on a more regular basis to beat them

I was just at their shop a couple hours ago and they said they still had a lot of good parts laying around they had taken off of the truck to try other stuff. I'm positive after talking to them none of it will fit on what they are building this winter:cool::cool:

Is it because trucks parts won't fit on a tractor?
