On my '06 6.0l I cant keep my Intercooler tubes on the turbo or intercooler.. The truck is stock, weighs about 12K pounds so its always workin.. But I have this problem more if its under hard acceleration or if i'm pulling hills.. So far it just pops the boot off the turbo or the intercooler, but whats causeing this?

you might not be putting it on right. it has happened to me about 20 times. when you go to tighten the clamp down you need to get someone to push the pipe. at least on mine when i tighten it down the pipe actually walks out of the boot. smash that thing down super tight and have someone pushing it while you tighten it. dont be afraid to get on it while tightening it either. that should fix your problem. it has for mine

Go in and clean it with a good degreaser, then spray a little hairspray, (no chit) then clamp the piss out of it. You might want to do a CCV reroute also to get rid of the oil in the pipes.

I "HAD" the same problem....

First it was the motor, then it happened again, the I fixed it good.

My hotside i/c boot would keep popping around 45psi, tried brake clean, sand paper then hairspray and it still wouldnt hold. Bought a new boot and never popped it off again.
