Can I run a quad boost fooler with my Smarty and is their any advantage to it?

Thanks,
Brandon

I hit 92psi on an 06 with just a smarty tnt-r for electronics....

CompD fail. I'll re send ya one tonight.

Sorry dude, but I know I sent you a bunch of crap.

Im sure you did I keep turning to you cause you always go above and beyond the question I ask ! Whenever you get time that would be awesome no rush!

Thanks again Jason!

I have a wierd issue with mine. With TnT Revo I can run what ever boost it can with no code. I switch to TnT/R and I can only get to 42psi and get over/under boost code. Kind of wierd so I have a boost fooler to try now once truck is back together.

your MP-8 should be doing the fooling. TnT/R is the only program I run along with a MP-8 and never have any code boost problems. It is a original R tune though.

I did notice though that unless the MP-8 is turned to 100%, it doesn't completely fool. TS claims it should work at any % but, mine never has. I even sent it to them for a reflash but, it does the same thing.

If i ran a powerpuck with tnt-r on my 06 it would defuel at 44psi and not let you rev past 2000rpm. It cant hurt by running it.

Trust me Ty I tried alot of things before I figured out that this was happening. Mp-8 made no difference on the race program but does make a world of diff o the revo.

That's obvious. the TNT/R commands more duration then the revo. there for more room to add pressure with less duration. :) revo is like putting a bottle cap under the accelerator.

triton, we'll have to classify your truck as "weird". your stuff is way out in the outlier parts of the scatter graph :shake::poke:

As far as pressure what does evryone suggest for the TNT Revo tune?

MP-8, TST, Dr.P????

What settings would be safe to Daily Drive on???

Mild. Pressure box off.

The revo/TNT in think raises some cruise pressures. But you'll see in a gauge that the pressure increase is more "ramp rate" then pressure. Max pressure isn't increased in software much, I forget what stock was, 22.5k? Smarty will go to 24k? It's been a while since I ran stock software.

just flip the pressure box on for the race.

i have the TNT-R and i had a mp8 in sold it to a customer the other day and was looking at te Dr. Performance Race version what do you guys think. I could tell a big difference when i didnt have the mp8 on compared to when i did.
