I'm not 100% sure but everything I've seen points to it being different from the holset turbos.

no, it does not. it's a full marmon flange, not a half marmon

Is there an off the shelf down pipe or is it pretty much just build your own?

You can modify the exhaust housing the fit with an hx40 DP or build your own.

I got one of those turbos. 50 bucks at AC's machine shop made it an hx40 flange.
