Bosch VE Pump timing

I just had my VE pump rebuilt, this is actually on a 2.4 BMW in my 84 Mark VII but I thought since the pump is the same as first gen Cummins this would be the best place for some help. Is there a place on these VE pumps to "pin it" or lock it down so that get it timed correctly? Mitchell and all Data only show the timing belt marks and how to pin the pump gear and not how to time the pump where it mount to the engine. I remember doing a 5.9 VE pump in a Ford F750 and there was a pin on the pump to time it, that was a few years ago and I can't remember how I did it. Thanks Guys
