Bouncing down the track

Do most organizations allow Meyers snowplow brackets to hang weights? I already built one of those, would just need to fab a bracket to slide in.

If a class allows hanging weights, I've never seen them make rules on how you mount them... Alot of guys hang them off their plow mounts.

Thanks. I might do that as well, but my bracket is ugly. [big]

Looked like you gotta drag the clutch out a littlle longer and probly drop the front tire pressure, maybe rears a little bit too.

wierd. It started bouncing before you even got moving.

With my hitch set at 26 & blocks at 1", the truck bounced because I launched too hard & the sled came up in the front. I'm gonna run the same setup at Smithton June 19 & ride it out further.

As Gene stated but in one phrase: Flat basketballs don't bounce.

i hear that all the time but hard tires dont flex and recoil either. ive run 60 in my rears with BFG's and STS's for 3 seasons now and only bounced bad one time in 40 or so hooks.

Thanks TJ. Thats why I'm gonna try again before making adjustments. It never bounced before & you saw how I launched it that hook. I honestly think that my hard launch jerked the sled causing it to seesaw which in return started the bounce. After I backed out of it, it was smooth the rest of the way.

Air the Fronts down to 25-30 and the added weight will help alot up front. My truck likes to bounce but if I throw 600pounds up front it eliminates the bouncing.
