Broken ARP Stud

Welcome to the club. Had two break on me and when I sent my set in I was told it wasn't an ARP set because 6 were longer than the rest.. LOL....
A-1's from here on out!

who told you that , in a 247 4202 24 valve / CR there are two lenght of studs , the 6 longer are used along the exhaust side .

Never , ever torque hot!!!!!!!!!!!!!
use ARP lube
never torque to more then the ARP specs 125 ft lbs
no mater what any one says

if you have a problem with a studs , PM me , 99.9% are instlation , but I will still help you , I must have the studs ,

Never torqueing hot make sense to me. But I have to wonder why the manufacturer, in my case, A-1 says right in the directions to RETORQUE HOT. I have to think the stud manufacturer knows their product wouldn't you? Do the ARP directions differ?

Tim, Justin ??? one of their techs , hell I don't remember now Greg, I gave them a chance and they blew it so I'm done with ARP.

You know and I know there's two different lenths in a 24v set, but I was so mad when they got on the phone with me calling me a liar I just told them to send them back. I still got'm if you want'm.
