Build Question????

In the process of rebuilding my 12v for my Fummins. Build right now consists of o-ringed head, head studs, 5x.012s, 4gsk, 100plate, 16.5* timing, and HE351cw/s400....My question is, does a drop-in cam(doesn't need cut pistons) really make a noticeable difference on spool, egt drop and throttle response??? I have had experience with a previous Drop-in cam and wasn't really all that impressed.........Looking for feed back only on 12v engines. Thanks

Yes, that's one of the best mod I did, I could not imagine an engine built without it now !
