Build Suggestions?

Hey guys I have a buddy lookin to build his first gen. I was hoping you could steer me toward a good set of injectors and a turbo. He wants to make 400 horse or so with the stock VE pump. He will get a lift pump and supporting mods. Thanks in advance!

Also what should he run for timing?

Fuel only? On a budget? Converter or manual?

I'd say 6x16 injectors from Scheid or Buddah Power and a 62 or 64mm turbo should get you there. Skip a tooth on timing, should be c.20-24 deg.

Right now I'm at 356 on fuel on stock timing and through a converter. Also with no intercooler. But I do have a 14mm pump
