Building TWINS worth it to build my own pipes?

Thanks for the advice guy's and like Racin Dually says if somone would come up with some sort of builders package on the piping together but just tacked that would be nice. I think I can do this if the truck could sit for a while but unfortunetly that is not an option for me....

There is a lot of work that goes into the piping on twins..... tacking the pipes vs. welding the pipes isn't going to change the price much if any. Time is what you are paying for. There is some knowledge that goes into making them fit well but mainly its time.

I went and built my own set for a few reason...COST is a big one and figured my time wasn't nearly worth what others wanted for just piping. The other reason was that mine is custom (Cummins in a GMC) so there was nothing available. There was nothing for my combo of chargers I was using or in the configuration I was using (hood stack).

Gathering all the parts was the most time consuming and really it wasn't that expensive for everything. Granted I sourced all the parts my self and didn't reley on using pre-fabed parts from places like Source Automotive. In my system I have only $150 worth of steel and tubing and boots and we made out own flanges and everything. I have thought about selling the flange/4" adapter but not sure if anyone would be interested in it.

Here are some pics of my setup.

Although I have a tig I chose to just mig everything just to speed up the process a little bit and it still looked really nice. I built my own intake too for the truck and out 14guage exaust tubing and also used the mig which some thought I should have tigged but it also turned out really nice. Here are some pics of that....

I built my own.

1. just cuz I could

2. No one makes one to use two external gates

3. I had to use 3" pipe to fit the HX40 turbine and GT42 T4 inlet flange.
