built 47rh

ok as I stated numerous times I did not build the trans. I bought it and wanted a nv4500. had a guy call and want a g56 but I wanted a nv4500. secondly I am trying to find a way to make it right cause I rode in truck before it was pulled and it shifted perfect. he got a triple disc suncoast, suncoast manual valvebody, billet ats flywheel, magtec trans pan, and a trans cooler with electric fan and all tubing for it. along with a good trans. add all that up and we were told it was rebuild with suncoast. he got the whole package for basically 1400 since 200 was shipping. it was rebuild as I stated 10k miles ago so im sure signs of wear will be shown and if not guess should have bought a brand new trans if gonna ***** about that.

contacted guy on that nv4500 and he didn't read it right cause he thought it was a 47re. when I clearly stated 47rh

If you buy a aftermarket transmission then the core is usually $1000. I don't think you got too screwed on the price seeing as you did get a billet flex plate and a converter with it. And as I read his OP no where in it does he claim anything else in the trans besides the VB, shift kit, and a basic rebuild kit from suncoast, and a trans pan, was aftermarket. Maybe he was confused on what a "stage 3" trans consisted of but no where did he claim that it had the components in it of the stage 3 description that wcshale posted. I don't see where the issue is. Worst case scenario is you have a good core and the valve body and flex plate make up the difference in value from there.

I'm assuming the TC wasn't part of the rebuild? Sounds like the ATS parts had been in there quite a while and a basic rebuild was done 10k ago with no paperwork (I have paperwork on my Ford from the 70's). He made it sound like everything was fresh 10k ago.

I agree with you that he got an alright deal all things considered. However, the ad is deceitful. Read an ad like this and try to tell me the OP is not leading it on as a good built transmission. Regardless of the facts that the parts were worth the asking price the buyer did not get what he thought. The OP should not have been selling something that he apparently knew very little about. Buyer beware I guess. Does not make it right though.

Being deceitful is as good as being a liar.

When buying a transmission from anyone other than a reputable company that is "rebuilt" with any kind of mileage on it you are taking a risk. And that is up to the buyer. That's all I was basically trying to say along with he basically got what he paid for

Agreed 110%. Just making a point that it is hard to trust anyone these days when you are lead on to believe one thing but get another more times than not.

Agreed. There's less and less honest people these days. I actually just received a 188/220 cam from hamilton cams that I never ordered nor paid for, so I messaged Zach last night and he said he would give it to me for half price for being honest. These days you just have to be careful buying used parts

Perfect example of how honesty ends up being the better path. More times than not people get rewarded for their honesty in one way or another. That is awesome of Zach though!

WTH all I get in the mail are bills and they want me to pay the full amount. :0)

My rule of thumb is not to buy from someone with less than 1,000 posts. Some people are on here like its CL or something, and there not on here to be CompD members, rather to just use the site. I dont think the OP was out to jack him... and for what he paid, IDT he got a bad deal considering the whole of the parts... but buyer beware sums it up best

There's also people on here with not so many posts who are very well known people by others on here. Any rule is still a gamble. Unfortunately people can lie so easily and not feel the least bit sorry these days. Sometimes there are honest mistakes, but more often than not they're down right lies.
