It did snow today but the forcast for Sunday is supposed to be 11 above with 20% chance of rain

Im coming no matter what. I think from what I have heard that they close the track up early, so we might not be staying at the track tonight. We probably wont get out of ft mac until after 5, which wont put us into Calgary till around midnight. Probably be doing the walmart thing tonight

Sorry to hear they canceled they drags. We are not coming hope to see every one in INDY

man, at this rate I am not ever going to get any points,, LOL so where are people going to camp tonight then? and for the rest of the weekend?

We decided to stop in Edmonton. GOt a real late start tonight. We will probably pull out of here by about 6 or 7. Try to be at the dyno by around 10 or 11. If somebody reads this and is going there please put my name down for the dyno. Going to see what the old Ford can do

Just got to ex-father-in-law's in Northern MT. Will probably just skip the dyno & let my kid spend time with grandpa. Couldn't find the tire chains for the Jetta anyhow...

Kevin,
I will be there around 9. Give me a shout on my cell and I will book you in. Number is 780-238-3767.

Man the snow doesnt stop the Canadians, it is 32 degrees and snowing and so far we have dyno over 40 trucks and there are about 200 spectators on hand and we just started the burnout contest and the first competitor went until the tires popped and the truck caught on fire.

Wow, looks like it was a fun time despite the snow!

I just wanted to say thanks to NHRDA for making the "snow out" call on the drag race in a timely manner, to save some travel time and $$ for those of us coming a long distance (and for sending out an email to announce it too). I know it must be a tough call to make when all the money has already been spent promoting and traveling to an event (especially when there is still a rain-or-shine dyno event). Just one more way these guys are looking out for the racers!

Regards,
Michael Pliska

PS - I already received my first contingency checks from Mission (FASS & BD Power) - thanks guys!

Looks like it would have been funner than what I did. The weather here turned good and I have a honey do list 2 miles long.

Was a really good time despite the rain/snow & cold weather. We managed to get 607hp on motor only,no chips & no water/meth & managed to roost our tires off @ the burnout contest.Hopefully we can get a rained out date? I guest time will tell?
