Cam Sensor Code

On a buddy's 06 he keeps getting the cam sensor code and we have put 2 new sensors on it with no change. Anyone have any ideas?

Oh I also checked for rubbed wires near the ac compressor.

i had the same problem, i first changed the sensor but it didn't work. so i swaped out the tone ring and it seems like it worked. no code so far.

well my guess would be the mark that the sensor reads is off. or needs cleaning. but i havent seen the case open to see how it reads it.

Any aftermarket alarm with remote start???

Those can and do screw with the cam sensor and usually throws a cam/crank code.
