Can a 6.0 be Ran Mechanically?

HI all.
I am using the stock heads.

Costs so far.

1300 for injector nozzles
2500 in other injector modifications
5000 for a built 800cc p-pump
1100 for custom bent lines
2000 for p-pump mounting bracket
700 for p-pump drive flange
300 for lexan valve covers
200 for a used cam to get the cam gear
300 for a plate to remove the oil cooler
200 for remote oil filter mount

So I am up to about $14,000 in the motor just to get the fuel in it. Sounds like a lot but when you compare it to putting on Twin HPOPS and 430cc injectors the cost starts getting really close. Plus I don't have to buy SCT with custom tuning which makes the price closer. And I have almost double the fuel possibility.

Other thing, the DVT800 p-pump is huge. I have to make custom intake as the stock one will not fit. I also can not get a turbo on top of the motor so it needs to either go on the side or up front like Billy Zimmer did.

Right now the project has slowed a lot as my check book is holding things up. I don't think it will pull this year. The pump and injectors work as they should on the flow bench. In the next couple weeks I should be able to finish paying off the injection shop then back to trying to get it to start.
