cannot figure out my lighting issues

When I had headlight issues, it turned out the connectors at the bulbs were bad.
 
i wish i knew more about engine electrical systems.. guess ill take it to a shop or just drive on high beams forever
 
i checked and theres power to both plugs, relays are all working properly. im not sure what this could be
 
well i feel like an idiot now.. about a year ago i removed the 7 way plug for my 5th wheel because the plug itself quit working. long story short, that ties in to the reverse lights as you all know. electrical tape came off of the loose wires, they were shorting out and caught on fire.

luckily i stopped it because i was in the bed of the truck watching a truck pull when my girlfriend was in the cab stepping on the brakes for some reason i saw smoke and it occured to me.

so now i know where my reverse light issues are coming from. could this also cause the low beam issue or is it unrelated?
