capping off a vacum pump

is it ok to cap off the intake side of a 12v vaccum pump, dont need it and it blows too much air into the crankcase if left open to air...
 
the vacuum pump Vents into the front cover / crankcase pull the hose off and rev it up it will have a steady blow out the road draft tube..
 
I closed the one on my 93 5.9 in my 72 chevy no problems.
 
My mistake I was thinking compressor for some dumb reason, yes cap it off.
 
Done 3/8 vacuum cap on there now I have no blowby... :)

The outlet you call it is actully the intake{vacum}the exhaust goes in the motor.
