Its lighter so should be better for bearings etc. I know of 2 sets used, one being a 6.4 setup and its over 2k hp with no issues. Cant speak of drivability since everything else was changed from before

Thanks. Was wondering if any issues arise in the 6.4 setup being that the rods would be a little over a inch and half longer, but if they are living at over 2000hp evidentially not haha
A longer rod is a good thing, they are more efficient.
Id like to try this Carrillo setup with one of Hamiltons new lightweight cranks. That would remove 30lbs of rotating weight and 12lbs of reciprocating weight.
That would definitely be one quick revving setup. The Carillo kit comes with forged pistons correct?
They are a forged piston with steel ring land inserts so they will actually hold up to street use.
You sure about that?
No, that is just the information I was given. Looking at google pics now I can see they don't have an insert.
Does it still have a large skirt like stock?
Just wanted to give you a chance to correct that statement, not so much tell you that you were wrong.
