Dunbars Dyno

This will be an all day event. Qualifying to start somewhere around Noon.

There will be lots more details, we want to have "The Show" next year.

sounds awesome...is this replacing TS? im all for any reason to see a national!

is there still gonna be a TS? i dont want to hijack this thread, as im gonna try and go to this event.

This is not a TS replacement, I hope TS is able to have their event also. A few of us just wanted to put on a top notch Diesel event with a big payback and see if we can draw in the top trucks from the surrounding states. NKTPA has a good rule package so we went with them. There are very few events if any that pay $1,000 to win, ours will in Workstock and 3.0 plus it will pay $1,200 in the 2.6 class. Several said a show and shine would be good. A top 25 Show and Shine with a 6 foot best of show, 4' Best paint, Best undercarriage, best interior, and best engine. We want the nicest stuff around to be here and we have put up the money to prove it. Dunbars Dyno should be confirmed today.

Dunbar's Dyno is confirmed, he will be at our show on 5/22/10. More details to come. Should have a Logo/Flyers in the next few days.

Here's the logo, we will have some swag to purchase. Also there will be a website, to pre-register for pulling and show.

Davey just left my shop and sounds like its going to be a great thing. There even having a remote control pull in the arena next to the track. He said they will have a website up soon. http://www.centralkysmokeout.com

Definitly my top priority for next season. I miss the WS class been pullin with the 2.6 guys and refuse to ditch my stock turbo til its blown to pieces

Dave Hager will be supplying the sleds, that's right two sleds on two tracks. There have been a few changes to the line-up since I last posted. This will be a 2 day show, we will qualify the Workstocks and 2.6 trucks on Friday Night on two sleds, two tracks at the same time. Then Staurday we will start off the day by Qualifying 2.8/3.0 trucks, then a last chance qualifier for both the Workstocks and 2.6 trucks that didn't make it on Friday. We will then have the championship pulls on Saturday night. I am in discussions with two different deals right now to bring Television coverage to this event. It will either be on the Outdoor Channel or Speed. I'm confident we will have major magazine coverage. There is a ton of work going on right now behind the scenes to make this bigger than we imagined. The 3 of us that came up with the idea to begin with, wanted it to be the big deal, and it will be. Stay tuned for many more details to come.

Does any one know the time frame between TS and this event wanting to start plaining my vaction's for next season for bigger pulls.

sounds like its going to be a great event, might try and get out there this year

I passed tech and pulled at TS. Will the rules be about the same? Need NKTPA's rules ASAP.

I spoke with Dennis at TS and his pull is going to be the weekend of the 7th-8th of May, 2 weeks between him and us.
