Change turbo or injectors?

My truck is going to be less of a toy and more used for pulling 10-12k lb trailer for a year or two. Right now my setup works ok, Aurora 4000 and Jammer 4's. But it gets hot pulling a trailer and you have to watch the EGT's like a hawk. The turbo doesn't hit until almost 20lbs boost then it lights like a rocket and shoots up over 40. But with a trailer on and everything turned down to pull the load the egt's get hot waiting for it to build boost to 20lbs.

Wondering if I would be better served with a waste gated 62mm turbo, or if I should invest in better, cleaner, injectors????

Get better injectors. Smaller, like 50 hp or 75hp. With that turbo you have now and something smaller and cleaner burning. I think that would awesome. And with fuel now over $4.00 a gallon i think it would be a wise choice.

Smaller turbo for sure. Smaller injectors wont fix a laggy turbo....

smaller turbo will work better so if you start with that you will see..
