charging issue

Ok guys I'm on the road and I'm having a high charging issue yesterday my truck burnt up alternator and I put a new one on and now it's charging at 17 volts and cooking batterys any help would be greatly appreciated thanks

The regulator is in the ECM. You can stop at any autoparts store & get a Mopar 2 wire regulator & splice it in to get home.
