cheaper mods for a budget build

I take that back, 4 posts.... Seriously?!? About as bad as the injectors thread the other day where the kid started talking about 8" stacks and EVERYONE read home the riot act. Guess we're just stuck with trolls now. Lol
Join the crew and help run them off.

I haven't seen much from injector boy:D

I noticed that one falling back in the pages. And I would be glad to help! I may not be one of the fastest or most BA here, but I hate stupid ppl... Thats why CF has become overly annoying...

Thanks for the input everyone i apreciate your advice. But i dont want to sound like a cheap guy trying to build a 900hp monster for a few bucks, i was just curious if anyone had learned of any tricks or what not over the years working on these motors. I also have pyro and boost gauges as well, and the kdp has been taken care. And its not that im trying to say im broke but still want to mod, i mean to say that i am trying to save my money and not spend all of it on mods, and leave some for breakdowns like you have said, or regular wear n tear parts, thats all. And do the simple things before i get into the more complicated and costly things.

Sounds like you have a good foundation for a solid build. I would go with the 4k gsk, and valve springs next..

How long have you had the truck? I always advise to replace worn bushings, joints, etc. Make sure you have a solid stock foundation to build on.

exactly.

With my 12v, I've replaced the steering components, all the brake components, ball joints, rod ends, etc. When the truck is 100% sound and ready for130mph + i'll start the performance mods.

The less expensive mods would be
GSK
increase timing
injectors
fuel plate / afc mods
torque stock head bolts
ofv
box stock borg warner charger

ya ive looked the truck over pretty well, and i bought it from my cousin and he went right through it and replaced anything it needed. Its a really solid truck, currently the only thing it will need soon is a front left caliper but thats it. Thankfully the truck was maintained extremely well

Me?

If so..still here. I just read.

I think he was talking about Mr. whistle plate removed, wants some 8 inch stacks, and has a fancy "went all out" built trans from a FANCY three letter shop that felt "sketchy" pulling 6 motorcycles and 3 fat kids.... :kick:

You directed him towards the proper forum...

Okay, cool :). I thought he might have still been annoyed with me since I didnt speak so highly of DDP injectors even though ive never run a set myself. BTW, I realized I shouldnt negatively talk about a companies product when I have no personal experience with the product myself. That was my mistake.

Well how fat are these 3 kids?:hehe:.

Like a "Woah! Close the elevator doors before he gets here, I want to live!" or like a "Alright, I'll go fire up the excavator to bust this wall down and drag your fat ass out. You may feel a slight pinch when the bucket and thumb meet." variety fat kid.

LOL
