Clutch Questions

I was wondering the difference between the clutch for an 01 NV5600 and the new style 6 speed. A friend of mine bought one for his truck and bought a 3250-GK clutch. Im needing one for an 01 NV 5600. Does anyone have any info one this? The flywheels look the same.

Depending on the clutch manufacturer, SOME clutches can be used by removing a spacer on the flywheel.

If you have one, I would contact who ever made it and get the straight talk from the source.

If you're looking to purchase one, there are no functional differences (only dimensional) that I'm personally aware of... Basically, you aren't getting a "better clutch" by purchasing a G-56 clutch.

The guys that build them for a living may chime in with something different.

Thanks buddy! Its a South Bend Clutch. He bought it then sold his truck and is goen to give it to me if it works. I hope it does like you say it look the same. Thanks Daniel
