That is the trick with POR-15. The metal has to be prepped just right, and the process has to be followed exactly. That makes it a pain in the tookus. My sandblaster up north told me powdercoating was the toughest to get off. The next toughest was Chassis Saver. The next was brush-on Rust-Oleum. He said POR-15 was a piece of cake to remove. I've used POR-15 on a 56 Willys I did over, but only had it a couple years. It did fine while I had it. Then I did my 70 Chevelle ragtop in Powdercoat. It was sweet. I did my truck in Rust-Oleum in the rear and Chassis Saver up front to see which would last better. That was 2 years ago. Guess I should check it out to see which end is better. BTW, doing a frame in black is all well and good. I did the Willys and the Chevelle that way. But I did the truck silver. You can see under the truck a heckuva lot better that color.
