Codes only 1690 and 1693

When I do the turn the key trick I get only the 1693.

Now if I check it with my smarty i have 1690 and 1693.

I reset the truck by pulling batterys with the key on.


The light comes back on with in a minute.


I also have dead pedal. There is no white smoke also..

Any ideas
 
1690 is set when the cam sensor and the pump speed sensor disagree. The tach reads off the cam sensor. 1690 and dead pedal kinda points towards the pump. I'd check it with a good scanner to see if there's any more codes hidden.

Any fuel pressure issues?

You might need to get someone with a legit scan tool, Like a snapon.
