I know there is threads on this but i need to no if i should stick to the drag comp or try the adrenaline. If some have tried both on the dyno or sled pullin. Tell me which is best and positives and negatives. I am new to the whole forum talking, so bare with me. Thanxs in advance.

The comp has the highest hp on the dyno to date. Both are good boxes. I like the drag comp more then the ADR thought JMHO

an Adrenaline has the ability to make just as much power as the Comp and depending on your setup possibly more then the comp.

The main difference is driveability, The Comp box is very smooth and the adrenaline bucks and surges on the higher power levels under low to medium throttle. The Adrenaline has some really nice functions tho but I like to daily drive with my power on kill, so for now, I'll stick with the comp box.

Stack it with the Smarty! That's the stack i had before the AD and loved it.
The AD is a good box, the Pulse rocks! If only i could get the Comp/Pulse.

yeah i thought about the smarty, but i keep hearing so many good things about the Adrenaline.

ive had both and personally i like the ADR better. feels like it has more bottom end and i got 10 or more psi than my drag comp. to me the ADR has more seat of the pants power but thats just me. the surging and all are pretty much a gone. and if there are some left that have im sure it will get fixed. i jus got a great deal on an ADR so i tried it and liked it.

I think the Adrenaline makes more power than the comp/smarty stack, or either of the two by themselves.
What I like about the adernaline is that you can have smooth power with the 1K tunes, Download one of the comp tunes and hold on!
The comp is a good box, I never cared for the Smarty, not that much power, and made for "jumpy" throttle pedal.

And also, what are some dyno numbers you adrenaline users have put down?

You want to talk to WINspeed on here. Adam is the one with the vp44 hp record and he has ran both the comp and the ADR on the dyno. See what he thinks about the two. I know he maid 1060 hp with the comp so it would be interesting to see what he maid with the ADR.

not as much. he tried both on the dyno and at the track. drag comp did better on both.

I traded my TST comp for the Adreanaling. Only edge comp i've used was not a drag comp. But i did like the edge. But that was way back in the days of a stock truck while using it, so i never got the full benefit of it. The ADR compaired to the TST comp is 100% more smooth running the comp tune. I honestly was dissapointed with the Dyno #'s though. Over the truck with no electronic stuff the ADR only gained me 38hp. But thats just me on that day at that time. theres alot of other ppl with it having better #'s i'm sure. And even if its only giving me that much power, Its still smooth and it really kicks the truck alive.

I'd feel comfortable stating that the Adrenaline gave me 40 HP over the Drag Comp. I am one of those guys that has never had the severe bucking or surging problems so both boxes felt good to me. If anything, I felt that the Edge Drag Comp had full throttle surging as if it was 100% fuel, 80%, 100%, 80% on, off, on, off several times a second when wide open. The Adrenaline feels much smoother at full tilt and a smidge more surgy-jumpy in the midrange.

One thing the drag comp will never touch is the Adrenaline's HP above 3200 rpm. Important for a stick shift like me, not so important to automatic tranny guys.

He also was using one of quad's early tunes. They new ones feel stronger, plus with the pulse he could custom tune the adrenaline on the dyno to get the most out of it. Can't do that with the comp.
