have a coolant in oil problem on my 12v, remove the tappet cover and put pressure in the coolant system to find the location of the leak because i expected to found a freeze plug leaking, coolant come from the pushrod holes, remove the valve covers and found this, on cyl 3-4-5 exhaust valve, coolant coming fron under the valve spring.

anyone ever see this? what can cause this?

head is good for the scrap yard i think

I don't know why it would other than a bad casting. Its not like this is a triple spring prostock engine. Thats sucks.

Could be the cylinders are getting coolant in them and pushing up around seats, but honestly looks like a cracked head. My next step would be to pull the exhaust manifold and look for cracks in the exhaust ports. Did you get it hot (coolant temp) recently ?
