cooling and transmission problems

Just bought a 2002 dually its blowing coolant and some oil mixed in it out of the back of the motor pooring out under the bellhousing also transmission wont shift and not showing what gear its in? anybody have any ideas on any of these issues its all stock too. would really appreciate the help.
 
Flashlight and mirror- find where it's leaking. Head gasket, coolant hose, etc. It there's coolant in the oil, do not run it!
 
this is a duramax, so hopefully someone else will chime in. I'm not too familiar with them. It could be a headgasket, but not sure if there are other coolers or causes it could be.
 
If you have coolant in the oil, standard mechanics apply. Think about how it could get there, none of it good. The tranny is most likely a seperate issue. Take the truck back and get your money back.
 
Well I basically gave nothing for it I was just trying to see maybe the best ways to fix it I'm pulling the motor and everything this weekend
