I found the below post somewhere and saved it.
I'm wondering If these speeds sound correct?
I installed a 47rh in a 99 around 5 years ago and have driving with lockup coming on at 38mph and OD coming on at 45mph. I had posted the question for speeds and someone replyed with "35 and 45".
I'm trying to get this corrected today.
Here is the post I found recently:
I called transmission center and they said that the pressure is about the same as the mph depending on gearing. They told me the the switch for the OD was around 45psi so it locks in around 45-50 mph and the torque converter switch was around 50 psi for it to lock around 50-55mph.
