Finally got some hooks in this year. Still having troubles with my truck but got it to run good enough to make a couple hooks. It accually ran pretty dang good.

First hook I broke the front right stub shaft at about 30' but it came a flyin out of the hole. FFWD to about 1 minute mark to skip a bunch of dead vid time.

I didnt make it 75' so I got a rehook. Wasnt sure what I broke so I eased out of the hole, felt only the rears pullin so I just kept it nailed and wound up with a 3rd place anyway in 2wd out of 9 trucks.

Still have to find out whats wrong with the truck, ran good for the hooks but it ran so bad going home I didnt know if I was going to make it. I think it runs better the hotter I get it, for the hooks it was 210 deg + but on the way home only 150 deg and ran horrible.

looks strong, I broke 6 stubs last year before I finally bought a 35 spline 4340 kit. then I broke 3 sets of lockouts before going to 4340 drive flanges. just letting ya know since it looks like your gonna need to be upgrading

I have no idea where your at compression wise. But mine hates anything below 185ECT. Seems the low compression and big sticks need the heat to run right. At least in my truck.
 
I should be 15:1 or so, just started doing all this crap after I hung an injector at TS. It pulls fuel out on teh top end as well as not revving up right.

Wich kit was it and how much did it run? Thats what I want to do with it but didnt want to spend the money on it yet. If it breaks again it will get the kit.
 
When my truck is done you should tow it up here with that skanky Hooker and hit a pull in Ohio where the big boys play.
