cp3 or a p-pump on a cr 5.9?

What you going to do with the truck? Just pull or pull and drive? What class?

if you are only going to use the truck to pull go p-pump if you are still going to street drive it cp3

Stay with the cp-3 if you want a p-pump buy a 12 valve dont ruin a good truck the cp-3s have come along way and you would be supprised what it can do stock or mod.

Depends on the class and if your still gonna drive it or not. For a work stock and 2.5 class, the CP3 works great and usually are in the top 5 at most events. They can hold thier own in a 2.6 class usually aswell, just depending on how the rules are setup. 2.8 class and up They can do pretty good aswell, but with the limited RPM in the past a p-pump would usually prevail. Now with the stand alone ECMs out there to allow higher RPMs from a CR, I believe its going to be very interesting in how the 2 injection systems match up to one another. Right now as it stands, a 2.6 and up truck that is dedicated pull only vehicle I would lean more to the p-pump, but once the bugs are worked out of these higher RPM CR systems, the p-pump guys maybe in trouble. Even then, a 2.8 truck with a CP3 could still be street driven just by a few minutes on a laptop to turn it down.

P-Pump it! Be prepared for some machine work though, or get a custom front cover, there's a few guys that offer em. Can't beat the rpms and fuel delivery of a p pump.

I think Bob Dylan said it best. "Times they are a changing"

Run the CP3 Diesel Buddy. If you want to play with a fuel pump get a 12V

LOL. You'll never see a single or dual cp3 setup touch a sigma or inline 12cylinders pump, I don't care what times have or will change. Funny those high HP Cr guys run 12 and 24v rods too eh? Funny how the times change LOL

Multiple CP3s (triples) have been done and will eventually X many will match a sigma, etc.

It's everything after the pump that still needs a lot of advancement.

Stay with the cp-3 dont go backwards in time a single cp3 dodge won itpa points this year beat pentey of dual pump trucks and p-pumps. The dual cp3 duramaxs in the 2.8 and 3.0 classes do just fine keeping up with the p-pumps. Then if you were to mod both the pumps you would have more fuel then you would ever need and you can back to a street truck with minior changes and you dont cut and ruin your truck by putting a p-pump on it.

ya do a duel fueler if you can, helps spin larger turbos if u were to keep it streetable, put a duel on my duramax and loved it,

Eventually yes MAYBE. But eventually there will be aftrrmarket 12v heads. I don't think there wi/l be a change in power in the next 5 years. DD I say Cr all the way, even very competitive on the track. But look at the kings on the track and at the strip.

one pump will do way more then most can use , its all in the tuning. The Computer turns the fuel back, not the pump running out of volume

Ohhhh gosh, you peepee-pump guys.... It's apparent that you are shaking in your boots.

:)

Wrap your head around 2 Stage4 pumps.... 2 standalone platforms that have made power in the peepee-pump territory and get this, can be taken though a drive though lane and order Wendy's. :) That's what I call a program!
