CR Dyno and 1/4 records?

Tatkins, I didn't mean to sound harsh in my last post.. If I did, I apologize.. After reading it this morning, it didn't sound too polite. Anyway, I believe Dreaver ran a 10.48 at 130.5. I may be slightly off there. I'm guessing his weight south of 7,000 pounds due to some weight reduction. Jorge (Wicked) has yet to run that fast. He is pulling a heavy truck that he posted was in the 8700 pound range. It is no doubt making huge power.

If their 8000 pound lift wouldn't pick up your truck, then it had a problem. My 05 dually crew cab 4x4 with a spare, camper top (with windows), and a few tools weighed in at 8,040 pounds.

The camaro is currently a bare metal shell waiting to get in the chassis shop. It was scheduled to go in on May first, but they are running behind and don't want to take it in until the other projects are out. The engine is still at Fleece Performance in IN. The trans is finished, or I should say was. I'm now supposed to send it back to TCI for upgraded billet shafts and a trans brake. I was hoping it would go as scheduled, though it never ends up that way..

5850-5900lbs? o ok that dosnt make me feel that bad. and hear i thougt you guys were kickin our butts :P we have and 7900 lbs truck at 10.42. and another 8400lbs at 10.60.

Thats some weight to move. If everyone wasnt into stripping there trucks im sure we would see a couple 10 sec 8,000 pound dmaxs. But hey a 7700 pound dmax running 10's Also isnt bad

Who has a 7700 pound dmax running 10's? That would have to be a crew cab 4x4 dually.. My crew cab 4x4 dmax lifted 9'' on 39's weighed in at 7200 pounds and I believe that was with me on the scales with it down in Port Charlotte at a pull..

I would like to know were some of y'all are getting these crazy weight #'s from? I have an 05 CCSB 4x4 duramax and if i take the two tool boxes, front and back seat, spare tire, tail gate, gooseneck hitch and factory hitch with me in it 6500lbs half tank of fuel. With everything in the truck it weighs 7140lbs with me in it. I also have a friend of mine with a 06 dodge CCSB 4x4 and on the same scale with his tool box, spare tire and tail gate off with him out of the truck it weights 6660lbs 1/2 tank of fuel.

go to there web site they say stock there over 7000lbs. i started a thread and they said mike ws actualy 10.49 and wicked did run that time like 5 months ago it was big new on this site like 5 months ago check wicked's threads he has video and time slip posted on the thread. its a old thread so you might have to look a bit. is the tranny your getting from a dmax truck? allsion?

wicked trck may make the weight but mike d truck will never see that weight witut some being added

what scale? im telling you the scale on my truck plus others have shown there trucks weigh that much plus on my paper of the window from the dealer says so. plus if you go to dodge web site go find the weight it will tell you.

My 2wd 06 is a truck that looks much lighter than it is.. I wish that were just the opposite. It looks like a 5500 pound truck, though it has a normal raceweight of 6370-80. I tried to cut a little weight at the last race, and it just hurt traction. I'm going to add weight at the next race to get it around 6500.. Does anyone have a spare filled with lead I can borrow? haha..

Here's a question. What does it matter what it weighs? You run what you run. If you want to run xx time either make more power or cut weight. There aren't any asterisks next to records that say, "This truck weighed xxxx pounds."

It doesn't "matter"

But show me a 6500# truck and an 8500# truck running the same times, and I'll be more impressed with the 8500# truck.

So you mean to tell me that with the tail gate and spare tire on it will go 7000+ :hehe: He also has a pretty nice stereo system in it as well

And I'll show you which one breaks more stuff;)

I'm going for lightweight, and big power on the next ride...I'm tired of not having a reliable truck to drive everyday because I break something everytime I go to the track at a whopping 450hp!

I'm talking about other guy's trucks:D It's way cooler when the broken parts aren't mineLOL

I agree. Two trucks running the SAME time, I'll be more impressed with one that is 2k lbs heavier, but when you ask for the record don't say, "Oh, well, they're alot lighter than I thought...," when you get the answer.
